The place to view Angkor Wat at sunset

the same temple 40 years ago, also at sunset

The sunset was a busy time with lots of people streaming up to this small temple on a hill top, where we could get get a wonderful view of the Angkor Wat temple, rising out of the green forest
Jinta is sitting on a shiva lingam...

Mr Touch the tuk tuk driver

Mr. Touch took us every day around th temples or wherever we wanted to go, waited for us and was always ready to continue when we emerged from the temples

Although it was very hot, it was pleasant in the back of mr. Touch's tuk tuk

first off to the fabulous National Museum

The National Museum was the first place to visit.
It is a very modern building with cold air conditioning, but with an amazing collection of Art.
One room had a collection of 1000 buddhas beautifully lit and arranged. It was a very powerful intr to the creative spirit of the Khmer people
